Has has devoted her life to making the world smile. Long before ever believing that Comedy would ever be in her future, she found the power of humor and making people laugh. Raised by her single Mom, Nikki reveals in many interviews that her Mother called her, “Silly” so much, that she thought it was part of her name! She’ll quickly add, “BUT! She never told me to stop acting silly, she knew I wasn’t acting!
Nikki says “one audience or one individual at a time, everyone deserves some pure joy. I love bringing people out of their woes for whatever time they are in my presence. No matter who they are, or where I am.”
It’s no wonder why anyone who has ever experienced her, immediately feels that they’ve made a friend. According to Nikki,, “they have.”
Her trials and tribulations as a Woman, Mother, Grandmother and lesbian, sets the course for the successful Comedy career she enjoys today!
Nikki has woven her life’s experiences into fiercely funny performances performed all over the the world. Comedy Clubs, Colleges, Churches, Funerals, Military bases as far as Kuwait and Iraq and all over the US. You name it, she’s done it!
Nikki began her Comedy career at age 34 at THE NEW YORK COMEDY CLUB. “ I just wanted to try, if it wasn’t good, at least I could say I did it once!” That first performance turned out to be a showstopper!
Her television debut would come 3 years later on BET’s Comic View..
One might also know Nikki from other TV shows, Specials and Movies such as; “One Mic Stand” with Kevin Hart, “Charlie Murphy’s Crash Comedy,” Martin Lawrence’s 1st Amendment Stand Up,” and “NBCs Last Comic Standing.” You can find Nikki in independent classics movies like “Golddigger Killer” and “Change The Game.” Her last movie appearance, was, “Ass Backwards,” starring Alicia Silverstone and Jon Cryer.
No matter the performance, you can bet she is following her own golden rule for Comedy; “BE YOURSELF and HAVE A GOOD TIME!”
